Cloverdale won't be doing a rezone. It's believed they have a sufficient site inventory.

Council inquired about modular housing as a solution to challenging market conditions

Several local Mobile Home parks have been identified as having unsafe units. Councilmember Cruz flagged this as a concern. Outreach will be conducted about rehab programs for mobile homes. Cruz isn't convinced staff has capacity to conduct outreach. Cruz has been working on this issue for 3 years and very little has happened nor has she been informed of the listed policy options (see matrix). Her question - how is anything going to change then?

Councilmember Palla: Not in favor of in-lieu fee's - wants to explore limiting this and forcing developer's to build. He's also concerned about infrastructure around new housing. Noted that state funding is not available.

Comment was made by a member of the public expressing concern around water supply. Mayor Todd Lands continues to support that anti-housing narrative.
