Planning Commissioner Tim Barrow asked a bunch of questions about state housing legislation. Wants to move forward with general plan update. Talking about street homelessness and housing shortage. Talks about NIMBYs and new concept of YIMBYism. Welcomes growth as economic prosperity. "In the 21st Century, NIMBYism cannot exist."

Planning Commissioner Kristina Gutilla was really interested in novel processes for outreach, with an emphasis on smaller targeted outreach to commuters, transit riders and families. 

Planning Commissioner Martha Parsons was very interested in the state housing element forcing Antioch to actually build infill and housing for different socio-economic groups. Says sprawl is unsustainable. 

Vice Chair Bob Martin: complaints about infrastructure, level of service at intersections, parking at BART, doesn't believe Antioch didn't build 1000 homes in 5th cycle.
